Energy Rebates

Rebates offered for energy efficiency by your local providers.

Spire Natural Gas Rebates

The equipment must meet the Spires eligibility requirements to qualify for the rebate. We are happy to explain this more if you have any questions. Rebates are for high efficiency Natural Gas Furnaces and Programmable Thermostats.

Rebates for Energy-Efficient Heating Equipment

  • Gas Furnaces with 96% AFUE or higher: $300

  • Gas Furnaces with 92% to 96% AFUE: $200

  • Programmable Thermostats: $25 or 50% of the thermostat cost, whichever is lower

Crawford Electric Rebates

Equipment must meet Crawford energy requirements. Please give us a call if you have any questions.

Dual Fuel Heat Pump

-$500/ton (replacement system with existing fossil fuel backup) 

-$700/ton (new or replacement system with new fossil fuel backup) 

-Must be Energy Star cold climate rating of 8.1 HSPF2 or greater 

Mini-Splits

-$150 per condensing unit 

-Heat pump must have a SEER2 rating of >15.2

Advanced Thermostat

-$50 electric credit 

-Must be an Energy Star Certified thermostat

-Available for existing and new homes

Unfortunately Ameren has done away with their Energy Rebates.

25 C Federal Tax Credit

High efficiency systems also often qualify for a Federal Tax Credit. The Tax Credit applies to already built homes and can not be used for new construction. This is a Tax Credit therefore it can only be used if you will owe on your Federal Taxes for that year.

30% of total price of Heat Pump maxed at $2000

Heat pumps that have an EER2 rating > than 10

Mini-split (heat pumps) with a SEER2 >16, EER2 >9 , HSPF2 >9.

$600 max credit for Air Conditioners

Air Conditioners with a SEER2 of 16 or more and a EER2 rating of 12 or more

$600 max credit for Gas Furnaces

Gas Furnaces with an AFUE efficiency of 97% or higher
